I read a lot of poetry. I hate to compare poets, each have their own styles, gifts and command of the language. I felt the imagery was logical and at the same time refreshingly new. I had to pause a lot and just sit with lines, right in the middle of poems and read them again. I usually give five stars if I have a lot of favorite lines to quote when speaking of a writer. I have more than a few from, "Traces of Her."I get saving space when printing, and trees. In the e-book, I wished the poems were separated starting at the top of their own pages, reigning in their own worlds. I wanted to meet each one, without my last lover on my mind. Savor their last words without being beckoned on. But at the end of each poem, another one was already calling for my attention.

I'm not your typical poetry lover and would never claim to understand it all. This beautiful work of art is actually one I enjoyed thoroughly. Ms. Williams has a way with words that has allowed me to join in, understand, and appreciate the art of poerty. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
I always fall in love with Teryn's work like it is my first time. As a reader, it's like i'm in church and the pastor is talking to me, Teryn does the same thing. She has a way of making you feel like she has stirred your inner being to wanting to feel the love, tears, and pain. I can't wait for what she has next!
Traces of Her by Teryn is another timeless poetry classic, definitely a book to share with poetry admirers. The metaphors and honesty in her poems make the words jump off the page and into your heart. With each poem you feel as though you are on a journey through her mind and what a beautiful mind she has.
Blissful tales of love's pain within a body of prose exposing the bittersweet ink of a woman unscorned in love's journey. She makes love honest as she sings its praises to the tune of her past. She is a glimpse into the simplicity of love and the complication of relationships. The author is unique in pulling together and breaking up all matters of her heart. The value is the gems uncovered in myself while I read this book. Raw and brave as always, Teryn, stands unshielded in love's presence.
Traces of Her is filled with brilliant poetic prose that speak volumes about the questions we all have about Love. The author shows a side of herself many keep hidden. Teryn eloquently explores and expresses the truth of what Love could truly be. Touching upon questions I myself had, her words captivated and astounded me at the similarities I share in curiosity with her. Traces of Her needs to be on the shelves of anyone who respects and feeds off of mind stimulating poetry that is well written and real. Teryn's words are soft but powerful, sweet and bittersweet. I read each poem aloud, sonetimes twice so I could really feel the words. Excellent read!

"Traces of Her" is an homage to loving some and someone. Each poem and prose is written to reach out to and shake love loose. More than anything the writings seem to plead for a grace that's settling on the author's humbled being.
Teryn Williams is a great writer whose work can be self-revealing and sometimes dark but always thoroughly inspiring.
